The second week in South Carolina.

Now that I have been writing a few posts, I can see more of what I should keep to private writing and what I should make public writing. I know that the public writing is really to share my progress on my project, which will also keep me accountable to the project's progress as well.

I have been doing a lot of playing in the codebase. I have also really been diving into Claude, ChatGPT, and v0 for development help. I have really been learning a lot by having these tools teach me different concepts. One of the really big things that happened yesterday when I was working was that Claude coded an entire dashboard-like layout specifically for theatre uses. That was super cool to see an AI code an entire page and tailor it to my specific use case.

Using AI so much to learn did get me thinking about how much harder it would be to do this project without the help of AI. I wondered if it not until now that I started this project because of how much I'd need AI. I don't want it to be a total crutch, but it is just so powerful that I can't help but try to use it to the best of its ability. This week, I will look forward to learning what I am going to bring to Savannah on Wednesday. I know that I will show her the code that Ivan has and I will ask more questions about using components.

I am going to continue doing Dan Koe's weekly review on Sunday evenings.

  1. What went well last week? Going to the chiropractor, StretchZone, and the gym worked really well last week. I am looking forward to those this week. Trying to stick to the morning, daytime, and evening general structure worked well. It really allowed for novelty when that got adapted a little bit.

  2. What didn't go well? The amount of time and energy on Friday going to Columbia did not work. The amount of time and energy that I put into just messaging and thinking about [redacted] is something that I want to improve on. Some of my eating habits did go well, and some of them didn't. I would like to improve on those this week.

  3. What am I grateful for? I am most grateful for the CT scan that Maw had on Friday and the positive results of that. I am also grateful for being able to get the flu shot at her doctor. I am grateful for getting fully committed to CrossFit and getting 24/7 access to the gym set up. I am also grateful for my solo shopping time on Friday in Columbia.

  4. What are my focus projects? My focus projects are obviously the app, getting my website further polished and somehow showing this blog component, and then also having a good session with Jenn on Wednesday and getting the project agreement started with Glory-Anne. I also want to start taking a photo a day to include in these blog posts.
