What went well last week? The app work session with Ivan went well last Monday. Also going to Nariah's workshop and having a session with Johanna brought good reflection and clarity to me. Johanna and I settled on a coaching statement that helped me. I edited it a little to now read, "I help creatives and brands stick to their vision through coaching and partnership." This helps me get clarity on what I want to do and the dream direction for new clients. This weekend was great. I really enjoyed my time in Winston-Salem on the way to Mickey's wedding. Kristen did a great job as Mickey's maid of honor and it was great to meet some of Mickey's stand out friends: Grace and Evan. I hope to see Grace in London. It was great to see The Wild Party at UNCSA and have some reflection back there. Seeing Ivan tonight in person for dinner in Charlotte was a highlight.
What didn't go well? I felt a little scattered with appointments and family time. The honeymoon phase of the move to South Carolina has dropped off. Now it feels routine in a settled way. I want to stay attentive and connected to the family. One thing that didn't go well is still feeling my right elbow injury. Also Stretch Zone rescheduled my appointment which I frowned upon.
What am I grateful for? I am grateful that I can still make Maw laugh and that she still makes us laugh. I am thankful for CrossFit and that I feel adapted there - although there are some workouts that I still don't feel great about. I am thankful for my mom. She left me a cute hotel-hospitality like card on my bed that I saw when I came home tonight from the weekend away.
What are my focus projects? My focus projects are the app and making actual progress on that. I will need to text Ivan about our next work time. Kristen suggested a new content strategy for TikTok that includes doing a themed video schedule and not posting everyday. I really resonated with that, especially not feeling the pressure of posting everyday.
Mom's humorous hospitality note that she left on my bed.
